Prof. Dr. Martin Wienbeck, ehemaliger Chefarzt der III. Medizinischen Klinik am Augsburger Zentralklinikum, hat sich nach seiner Pensionierung nach Afghanistan aufgemacht und leistet in diesem krisengeschüttelten Land medizinische Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe. Er bildet Ärzte und Ärztinnen in modernen medizinischen Techniken aus, engagiert sich in der Unterweisung von Medizinstudenten und hilft mit, die fachlichen Kenntnisse des Pflegepersonals zu erweitern.
Im Herbst 2003 unternimmt er, ausgehend von Kabul, Reisen in alle Himmelsrichtungen Afghanistans, bei denen er aktuelle Bilder dieses unbekannten Landes aufnimmt.
Seine in unmittelbarem Kontakt mit der Bevölkerung Afghanistans gewonnenen Eindrücke sowie einige Bilder wird er uns an diesem Abend vorstellen. Anmeldung erforderlich.
Im Anschluß haben Sie bei einer kleinen Erfrischung Gelegenheit zum informellen Gedankenaustausch.
